There has been a worldwide crackdown on pirate sites and several of them have been shut down or have voluntarily shut down. I do not do torrents. I prefer to stream videos without having to logging in. There was one site that had a decent collection of old movies (from 20s to 80s and 90s) and TV shows from several countries, all neatly categorized and with metadata from IMDB. (I had to also write and update a Greasemonkey script to block the site's popups and other annoyances.) Now, it is gone. Good Japanese movies and TV shows from the 80s or 90s are impossible to find.
In my collection of Teru Teru Ashita, there was one episode that was missing. While searching for it online, I found a Theytube channel hosting it. That channel also had episodes from a TV drama named Rasen (Spiral). This was related to evil video tape movie Ringu and its sequel *Sadako. It was broadcast on Fuji TV in 1999.
The episodes are quite thrilling and they maintain adequate suspense till they end. Gore is minimal. Like in Demon Ward, strange characters are introduced for no reason only to be dealt in detail in later episodes. The production values are top notch, almost movie-like.
The videos on this channel are low res but not unwatchable.
